After nine years of negotiations, fundraising, and planning, the Etna Riverfront Trail & Park will officially open on Friday, October 22. A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place in the afternoon at 1:30 PM. Later that evening, the Borough will host a celebration from 5:00 - 8:00 PM with food, drinks, and music as we reconnect with the Allegheny. D&L Handcrafted Deli food truck will be serving up delicious food, and Grist House Brewery will be selling its famous beers throughout the night. Jazz music will be provided with Kea Michael all evening while we enjoy the sunset. Come down to dance at the new amphitheater, see the beautiful light-up artwork, and relax while taking in the spectacular views. What an exciting time to be in Etna as we redefine what it means to be a “River Town!”
