Join glass artist Sarah Cohen for an all-ages community art project. Sarah will be hosting three workshops - in February, March, and April - where she will work with community members on creating glass mosaic sculptures to be installed at Etna EcoPark this spring!
The sculptures will be in the shape of walleye fish and will be installed in the rain garden along Wilson Street. These fish represent the health of the Pine Creek Watershed, which the EcoPark rain garden and all of our municipal green infrastructure projects work to protect! This project works with glass pieces, but is safe for kids and adults alike to participate in.
The first workshop will take place on 2/26 at 10 AM at the newly opened Pop-up Workshop, which is at 343 Butler Street, right next to the Pop-up Library. We are so excited to be opening up this new space for art workshops and maker programs in 2023!
The final two workshops will take place on 3/26 and 4/16.
